- Hot eggs (Dragon, Rocky, Scorching) — place Heaters nearby or build in a hot desert/volcano biome.
- Cold eggs (Frozen, Damp, Dark) — place Coolers nearby or build in a snowy biome.
- Warm/Neutral eggs (Common, Electric, Verdant) — a mild base with no extreme heating or cooling is ideal.
