How to Get Legendary Pals

Legendary Pals are the strongest in the game — and most of them can't be bred from other species. Here's what's catch-only, what can be bred, and how to get each one.
Catch-only legendaries
These top-tier Pals cannot be produced by breeding two different species. You must find and catch them in the wild (often as field bosses), then breed two of the same to make copies:
- Jetragon — the fastest flying mount in the game
- Frostallion — Ice legendary, a premier flying mount
- Necromus & Paladius — the Dark/Neutral legendary duo
- Shadowbeak — Dark legendary
- Blazamut & boss-tier raid Pals

Legendaries and rares you CAN breed
Plenty of powerful Pals are breedable. For example, Anubis — one of the best Handiwork Pals and a strong fighter — can be bred through many parent combinations. Elemental variants like Relaxaurus Lux, Jormuntide Ignis and Frostallion Noct come from specific unique combos.
The efficient way to hunt a target
Open the Find Parents tool, choose your target, and it instantly shows every valid pairing (or tells you the Pal is catch-only). For catch-only Pals, the Shortest Path tool confirms there's no breeding route so you don't waste Cake.
