Palworld Cake Recipe
Updated 2026-08-19 · 5 min read
Cake is the fuel for breeding — no Cake, no eggs. Here's the exact recipe and how to produce it on autopilot.
Cake recipe (per Cake)
- 5× Flour — mill Wheat at a Mill
- 8× Red Berries — grow at a Berry Plantation
- 7× Milk — produced by Mozzarina on a Ranch
- 8× Eggs — produced by Chikipi on a Ranch
- 2× Honey — produced by Beegarde on a Ranch
Bake it at a Cooking Pot with a Pal assigned to Kindling and Handiwork to speed things up.
Automating your Cake supply
To breed continuously, set up a self-sustaining loop:
- Ranch with Mozzarina (Milk), Chikipi (Eggs) and Beegarde (Honey).
- Wheat Plantation + Mill for Flour.
- Berry Plantation for Red Berries.
- A Cooking Pot queued to keep baking Cake.
Assign Pals with the right Farming, Gathering and Handiwork work suitability and the whole chain runs itself while you're out adventuring.
The higher-tier cakes (1.0)
Palworld 1.0 added cakes above the basic recipe, and they change breeding math significantly:
| Cake | Unlock | Effect | Recipe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vegetable Cake | Level 47 (Electric Kitchen) | Two eggs per breeding cycle instead of one | 8 Flour, 8 Tomato, 7 Lettuce, 8 Eggs, 4 Honey |
| Extravagant Vegetable Cake | Level 60 | Raises the Mutated Egg chance (roughly 1% → 3%) and improves the offspring's stat talents | 12 Flour, 8 Cotton Candy, 10 Potato, 6 Onion, 8 Carrot |
| Special Cake | Level 74 | Increases the chance that the parents' passive skills are inherited | Late-game ingredients |
The practical rule: switch to Vegetable Cake the moment you hit 47 (it also drops Milk — and therefore Mozzarina — from your supply chain), use Extravagant Vegetable Cake when hunting mutations or perfect stats, and Special Cake when locking in passives.
