Occasionally a breeding pair produces a special "mutated" egg. These are worth chasing because they can hatch Pals with extra, higher-tier passive skills.

What is a mutation egg?

A mutation (or "huge/special") egg has a small chance to appear from any breeding pair. The Pal inside is the same species the pairing normally produces, but it comes with a better roll of guaranteed high-tier passive skills — a shortcut toward a perfect Pal.

Why they matter

Because passives are the hardest part of building an endgame Pal, a mutation egg that hands you two strong passives for free can save several generations of breeding. Players farming for competitive or raid Pals keep every mutation egg they get.

How to get more

There's no way to force a mutation — it's pure chance per egg — so the answer is volume. Run multiple Breeding Farms with a steady Cake supply and hatch eggs in bulk. The more eggs you produce, the more mutation eggs you'll see.
