Assign the right Pal to a Ranch and it produces a resource for free — Milk, Eggs, Honey, Wool and more. There are 16 Ranch-producing Pals in Palworld 1.0. Crucially, three of the five Cake ingredients for breeding come straight from Ranch Pals, so this is where your breeding supply chain begins.

The best Ranch setup for breeding

Breeding runs on Cakes, and each Cake needs 5 Flour, 8 Red Berries, 7 Milk, 8 Eggs and 2 Honey. Every one of those except Flour can be automated with Ranch Pals:

• Milk — Mozzarina
• Egg — Chikipi
• Honey — Beegarde
• Red Berries — Caprity
• Red Berries — Caprity Noct
• Flour — mill Wheat (grown at a Wheat Plantation) at a Mill; the one Cake ingredient that isn't a Ranch drop.
