Skill Fruits let you teach a Pal an active attack skill instantly, instead of waiting for it to level up. They're the fastest way to give a freshly bred Pal a hard-hitting move.
What is a Skill Fruit?
A Skill Fruit is a consumable that teaches one specific active skill to a Pal. Use it from your inventory, pick the Pal, and the skill is added to that Pal's move pool — ready to slot into one of its 3 active skill slots. Each fruit corresponds to one skill (for example a Fire Ball fruit teaches Fire Ball).
Where to get Skill Fruits
- Skill Fruit Trees — distinctive trees dotted across the map that grow a Skill Fruit. Harvest the fruit, and the tree regrows another one over time, so you can revisit the same trees to farm them.
- Dungeons & chests — Skill Fruits also turn up as loot in dungeons and treasure chests.
- Merchants — wandering merchants sometimes sell Skill Fruits for Gold Coins, which is the most reliable way to get a specific skill.
How to use a Skill Fruit
- Open your inventory and use the Skill Fruit.
- Select the Pal you want to teach.
- The skill joins that Pal's learnable moves — equip it from the Pal's status screen, swapping out a weaker skill if all 3 slots are full.
You can overwrite an equipped skill at any time, so keep upgrading as you find better fruits.
Which Skill Fruits are worth it?
Prioritise a high-power skill that matches your Pal's element for the same-type damage bonus — a Fire Pal wants Fire Ball or Flare Storm, a Dragon Pal wants Dragon Cannon or Dragon Meteor. Browse every option ranked by power on the active skills list. Remember that the highest-power moves have longer cooldowns, so a good loadout mixes one heavy hitter with two faster skills.
